AnnieMarilyn Posted November 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2013 Two hard core cruise guys who have not been anywhere in three years (grad school/parental care giving) are looking forward to our much needed 33 days. Has anyone done this Itinerary? We are from Seattle so it will be nice to get out just as our weather turns cold/wet.
LBCABob Posted January 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Just booked a Solo Studio cabin on the Radiance as a B2B2B: Oct 11-20: Sydney to New Caledonia islands to Sydney Oct 20-Nov 5: Sydney to Perth Nov 5-Nov 22: Perth to New Zealand to Sydney I am guessing you fellas are on the Oct 20-Nov 22 legs since that adds up to 33 days (nights?). Have sailed only the New Zealand part back in 2012 but missed the Sounds and Dunedin due to a storm (even had 300+ pax stranded ashore in Akaroa since tenders could not operate in unexpected high winds). That was a SF-to-Sydney trans-Pacific cruise (27 days) and had a great time. Only bad part of Australia vacations is the long flight there and back. Am trying Air New Zealand this time since they offer what they call a "Sky Couch" where you get all 3 economy seats and bringing up the footrests makes it into sorta a futon. Flew home on a Qantas A380 super-jumbo in 2012 which was fantastic but just can't sleep sitting upright on a plane. Now have the months of planning and anticipation for this great vacation experience! Hope others find this Roll Call thread and join in!

sydneyguy Posted September 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2014 Four passengers with luggage would be impossible in one cab. It's not far to take your own.
