Holiday Cruise on the Gem

I have a couple of questions for those of you who have sailed on the Gem during the holidays.

1. Does Norwegian prepare a fancier dinner for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve? Or do they stick with the scripted regular menu. This info will help me in picking days for the the specialty restaurants.

2. Are any holiday events planned?

3. Is anything else different that wouldn't be on the ship the week before or the week after?
