vamom2003 Posted November 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2013 Our kids are 10 and 7 yrs old and we will be on the Coral Princess in a few weeks.. The kids got their reading assignments and have been asked to read every night.. Books can add lots of weight to the luggage and before loading up a Kindle with books for them, I thought I'd check to see if there were books available for them on the ship.. Thanks! Lerin Posted November 9, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2013 Possibly, but not likely. And even if there are, the chances that they have something your kids will like are possibly slim. Load up the Kindle with things they will enjoy.
Nebr.cruiser Posted November 9, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 9, 2013 Since I sometimes enjoy reading children's and young adult books, I always check this out. On most ships there are a two or three shelves of children's books ranging from picture books to longer novels, but they usually are pretty sparse. They may or may not find something suitable. I'd load up the Kindle' with a book or two as well as checking ut the library.

cb at sea Posted November 10, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 10, 2013 The libraries (IMO) are a disappointment. Not much for anyone!
