TwinCruiserMom Posted November 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2013 We are docking at the downtown pier 10am - 11pm. Interested in reviews for Playa Azul as it is a bit closer than the southern beaches and most likely less crowded. Just looking for a place to relax and maybe snorkel without spending a ton of $. Also, any idea what to do at the pier area? Not interested in restaurants or tons of shopping. Any museums nice churches, etc?
CRUISER2CRUISER2 Posted November 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2013 The Museum of the Island of Cozumel is just a little bit north on the main ocean street from the main square. It's 1-2 hours worth of time exploring it. Be a fun thing to rent bicycle and peddle up to it, and afterwards keep going north as far as you're adverntruous to do. TwinCruiserMom Posted November 14, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted November 14, 2013 I think we will check out the museum in the afternoon. Thanks for the suggestion. In the morning we thought Playa Azul would be nice for a few hours as they do not charge a fee. Just have to buy food and/or drinks. Would love to hear from someone who went to Playa Azul.
