kolson66 Posted November 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2013 We are arriving a week early for our Dec 1st cruise. Has anyone been to visit the Guavate Lenchoneras on Thanksgiving? I understand on the weekends it is very lively and includes vendors, music, etc... I am wondering if things are also lively on Thanksgiving Day? http://www.guavatepr.com/#TM
sowindct Posted November 12, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2013 Don't know if they are open Thanksgiving, but we did go there for the pork on a spit. The food was incredible! We did the roasted pork, fried plantains, rice and beans, and my husband did the blood sausage. We would go back there in a heartbeat.

I know they are open..not sure if they have all the extra festivities that they usually have on the weekends. Your post has made me hungry!! Was the drive out there easy?
