ElleninNY Posted July 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2005 I'm looking into a Penthouse Suite on the Nautica for next summer but the website isn't clear. What is the difference between Ph1, 2, and 3? Anyone have a favorite cabin I should request? Thanks very much.
jfb128 Posted July 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2005 It is the location of the cabins on deck 8. Mid ship between the elevators is pretty much PH1 and then the next group is PH2 and the outermost cabins are PH3. We have been mid ship on our cruises and prefer that location ; however we have had friends in the PH2 and 3 areas and found it fine.
ElleninNY Posted July 12, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted July 12, 2005 Many thanks for your prompt response! I will wait until I receive the brochure because it is impossible to read the cabin numbers on the website.
Guest Jancruz Posted July 12, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2005 You can pick up any Oceania brochure available at a local TA all ships are identical and so any deck plan is good for you to find cabins Jan:) *****
shoshona2 Posted July 12, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 12, 2005 Ellen, Go to http://www.cruisestateroom.com and you can view any ship's layout of cabins with very large typeface and see a virtual view of the cabins. Sheila
meow! Posted July 12, 2005 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2005 That website used to be totally free. Now you have to pay a fee to join to get all the information it offers!
digby Posted July 12, 2005 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2005 I was just able to look at the cabins without paying/joining.

meow! Posted July 12, 2005 #11 Share Posted July 12, 2005 I guess the cruisestateroom.com site is partly (not all) free. You can access some features without joining, but for other features, you still have to pay to join, because I just checked again and find their pay to join page as follows: http://www.cruisestateroom.com/amember/signup.php Hope this helps. Any comment? Thank you.

ElleninNY Posted July 13, 2005 Author #13 Share Posted July 13, 2005 That is a great site. I wasn't able to find the cabin numbers but the view of the suite was terrific. Just one mystery: the sailing I am interested in was not listed. I'd better wait until the Oceania brochure arrives.
Rare LHT28 Posted July 13, 2005 #14 Share Posted July 13, 2005 That is a great site. I wasn't able to find the cabin numbers but the view of the suite was terrific. Just one mystery: the sailing I am interested in was not listed. I'd better wait until the Oceania brochure arrives. If you click on "deck Plans " you should see the cabin numbers a little hard to read but they are there. http://www.oceaniacruises.com/T_MainContentPage.aspx?PageUID=2678d406-51be-4980-bded-e106df7b9525 What date are you looking at ? Most of the sailing dates for 2006 are there.
