carmie3377 Posted December 3, 2013 #76 Share Posted December 3, 2013 (edited) This last week while eating breakfast in a hotel and pouring syrup from individual containers onto my son's waffle, it dawned on me to check out Amazon for something similar. I found Kraft syrup individual containers. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE waffles, French Toast, and pancakes for breakfast so this thread has had me concerned. Perhaps I have found a solution. Sure, I could take a bottle but this way I won't have to run back to the cabin to take it back. For those accustomed to real maple syrup, this might be a disappointment. But I grew up on the "cheap" stuff and will be fine and dandy eating this :D It won't be the first time I've taken on my own stuff for breakfast. On my past couple cruises I have taken individual Nutella packets as that stuff is awesome on fresh fruit, waffles and pancakes. I have had people stop me and ask where I got it from and had to disappoint that I brought it on. Edited December 3, 2013 by carmie3377
blindrid Posted December 3, 2013 #77 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Even though the syrup was unusual, I can't believe someone would pack syrup. Part of the fun of traveling. Live with it.

Well, it's a better idea than packin' a case of bottled water.........
cj'smom Posted December 5, 2013 #79 Share Posted December 5, 2013 Just got off the Sun. One of my favorite foods was the raisin French toast with syrup. Tasted great to me and made me wonder what all the fuss was about!
