Does anyone know if you can do your own laundry on the Pride? And if not what do you do?...And if so how much?

Yes you can. They have guest laundries throughout the ship. I have used one on the main deck. It is located across from aft cabin 4228. You can do as much as you want.

Hi :)

I (think) its $3 to wash, $3 to dry. Self service laundry rooms on

the Pride are located at:

Riviera Deck 1 - across from cabin 1219

Main Deck 4 - across from cabin 4230

Upper Deck 5 - across from cabin 5270

Empress Deck 6 - across from cabin 6102

Verandah Deck 7 - across from cabin 7267

Yes, there are self-serve laundrettes on multiple floors, in various locations around the ship.

I know that on Deck 4 it is all the way aft, and has 2 washers and 2 dryers, there is also one on Deck 7, mid-ship starboard side, with 2 or 3 washers etc. There is also one on Deck 1, behind the midship elevators with 2 washers and 4 dryers. There are others, but I can't remember the locations.

It is $3.00 to wash and $3.00 to dry, all in quarters...you can get change at the "Dollar Changing" machine just inside the Casino, or you can go to the Casino cashier and buy a roll.

I believe the soap powder was $3.00 and the fabric softener (sheets) were the same. We do bring our own - Tide pods which travel well in a Ziplock bag, and a small bottle of liquid fabric softener (protected in another Ziplock bag), as we don't use the dryers for alot of our clothes, we just hang them to dry instead.

Hope this helps !

EDITED:

Wow, 2 other posters with great information while I was typing my response !

just another laundry question to throw out there.. can you do laundry on any days or is it just like sea or port days? does it matter?? I can't remember been so long since i've cruised. :)

Sea or Port days are fine, but you will find that they are extra busy at the 1/2 way mark of your voyage, and on the last sea day before port.

good to know.. maybe i'll use the Freeport day to do laundry as I don't think we have much planned for that day except stay on board or hit the place right off the dock that has free wifi for a bit.

Just off the Pride last week and was actually in cabin 7627. The in-cabin phone rang one afternoon, it was another passenger calling to inquire about the 7267 laundry room ! I chuckled and explained that the laundry room was not in my cabin!
