KPfromCT Posted November 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2013 Did you also post this on the RCCL boards? You may get more answers over there. Just a thought. Good luck!!:D
kybluecruiser Posted November 15, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 15, 2013 As far as size none really. The closest would prob be radiance class.
MarkSeattle Posted November 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2013 I'd say the Freedom or Voyager class. The Oasis/Allure and Quantum are in the super/mega ship size, the others are smaller, although with many of the features of the Freedom.
cjknox Posted November 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 15, 2013 Probably the Radiance class and/or the Voyager class class. I'd even venture to say the Freedom class too.
4merlurker Posted November 16, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted November 16, 2013 So you're saying it could be Radiance, Voyager or Freedom class.... Well, that narrows it down LOL. The kids have only been on RCCL's Explorer and NCL's Dawn. They were wondering how the splendor compares. If anyone has ever been on the Exp or Dawn, would you say the splendor is comparable all around?
Rare Tapi Posted November 16, 2013 #7 Share Posted November 16, 2013 (edited) The kids have only been on RCCL's Explorer and NCL's Dawn. They were wondering how the splendor compares. Splendor will be smack in the middle between NCL Dawn and Explorer of the Seas. So expect more than Dawn but less than Explorer. Fair enough? :) Seriously, try not to compare or go with pre conceived notions. Don't tell your kids that it will be "like a specific ship". Your best bet will be to tell them that it's going to be a new and different experience for all. Edited November 16, 2013 by Tapi

I don't understand why many people try to overplan and mentally prepare for every little detail. That sucks away most of the fun in trying new thins.
