Alcohol purchased in Carribean ports.

Every time you reboard the ship at a port call, you have to pass through security just like at the airport. You walk through the metal detector with shoes on and you place your bags and metal objects on the belt through the scanner. They will see the bottles go through and direct you to the alcohol table.

With that being said, I have on occasion not seen an alcohol table set up in which case you simply take it to your cabin. This was the case last month when reboarding in Aruba and I had a liter bottle of my favorite gin which I took to my cabin.

You can bring wine (750 ml bottle) back on board but may have to pay a $15 corking fee per bottle. This I have seen and been hearing is a hit or miss proposition. I just got off a 4 day cruise and carried on 3 bottles of wine. They did not have a table set up to collect their $15 fee so we walked on and took it to our cabin for consumption in the afternoon on our balcony.
