Info on beaches in Jamaica

Can anybody give me some feed back on your favorite beach. I am looking at Mahagony, Mallards and Turtle. Do they have restrooms, watersports, and is there a charge for use of beach chairs? Thanks for any help!!! Appreciate it!!

My favorite beach in Jamaica is Negril's Seven Mile, with Negril's Bloody Bay second.

Yes, Seven mile beach in Negril does. Plenty of options for snorkeling, parasailing, waverunners, hobie-cats, kayak, pretty much anything.

Montego Bay, Falmouth, or Ocho Rios?

 

Half hour or more from Mobay, not practical from the others.

Having been there numerous times, it is closer to an hour and fifteen minutes to one and a half hours from Mobay.:) I would plan on an hour and a half.:)

I agree, over an hour from MoBay. Not doable (I wouldn't think) from the other two.

Does anyone know what the beach is like at Dolphin Cove in Ocho Rios.....we are taking the kids there for the day....admission info says there is a nice beach....but would like to hear from someone who has seen it.

We will be on the carnival Breeze in Ocho Rios in August, 9 of us all over 18, is Turtle Beach or Margaritaville within a safe walking distance from the port? is there any cost to get onto Turtle Beach, we would just like a cheap beach day to do nothing, otherwise we are considering Bamboo beach with a carnival tour for 54.99 each

Don't know about Turtle beach , but Margaritaville is right there next to the dock. The beach is small, but probably the easiest and closest one. You'll be swimming in the shadow of the ship (almost) :)
