Epic-sound proof cabins?

We were very surprised how little sound we got from next door. Any time our neighbor was in the hallway or on their balcony we realized how LOUD they were, but we heard very little from the room.

This is in start contrast to my CCL cruise where we could even hear snoring next door.

Ive never heard noise from any cabins that Ive been on on any of NCLs ships. Im a light sleeper and the noise in the hallway will wake me. No noise from next door has ever woken me except for the dresser drawers slamming.

We've never had a problem with noise from other cabins. You will hear noisy people going down the hallways but that passes quickly. The only problem we have ever encountered with noise is people on the balconies. If the noise is really outrageous you can call the front desk. Usually just turning on the TV is enough to mask the noise.
