Sixto - Jewel of the Seas

After hearing of the tragedy in the Philippines, my mind went straight to our waiter (who generously serenaded us with his guitar) on Jewel of the Seas.

 

Does anyone know if he or his family were affected?

 

How many staff members have been affected by this? I remember there being a huge Filipino staff on board.

We were very happy to see that the cruise lines were so very proactive also.

Thank you, but that doesn't tell me if anything happened to Sixto specifically.

I don't know, but am happy to hear Sixto is still around...he was our waiter back in 2006 on the Sovereign...and the only waiter who I still remember to this day...he was that good!

Sixto is our waiter on the Independence!
