Phu My ship to post gates

We are staying in Bangkok for an extra day before flying to Saigon for a coupe of days and we have a transfer back to Phu My to join the ship again. The tour company didn't tell us until we had paid that they could only take us to the Port gates as they were not allowed in to take us right to the ship. Does anyone know how far the walk is from gates to ship please.

5-10 minute level walk. The ship will be in clear view from the gate as the road running to the port gate runs perpendicular to the gate and the ships dock in the port parallel to the road. The area is asphalt, somewhat pitted in places but not hard to walk on and pull luggage if you have to. I wouldn't want to carry large suitcases without wheels that distance.
