Going to Embassy Suites

Hi, I forgot to research this before I left, at the airport now. Getting to San Juan at 4pm today and need to get to Embassy Suites on tartak rd. I looked at google maps and it seems right next door. Do I really have to pay $14 for a taxi there? Are there any other options I have? Thanks so much for the past minute question!

I got here last night, No shuttles, taxi was $12 plus $1 for each piece of luggage. I asked about alternate modes and was told Taxi or walk, it's about 1.5 miles to walk from what I could tell.

Sorry we just got back, hotel is nice, walk a few short blocks to the beach. Lots of food and a Walgreens within a few blocks. Check in was fine, got in early and had to wait for a room. Staff was great and friendly
