In a word - no.

 

Duty free is ordered then can be collected on the day before your cruise finishes. It can't be taken there and ten and drunk in the cabin.

 

Course there's nothing to stop you buying alcohol in a port and taking that back on board to drink.

P&O do not object to you buying alcohol onshore and then taking it on board. Yes the bags go through security when you board the ship in any port but they do not remove alcohol - unless of course you are staggering on board having had one too many onshore!
