questions about embarkation and debarkation in San Juan

Hi everyone, we are cruising toward the end of March out of San Juan and just trying to figure out the earliest we can actually board the ship at the beginning and the latest we can debark at the end of the cruise. Trying to coordinate different arrival times for members of our group.

 

Also, has anyone rented a car from the airport for after the cruise (flying home a day after we arrive in port but want a car to get around vs taking taxis.

You could rent from Hertz across the street from pier at the Sheraton. Then return it at the airport. We have done this and it worked well.

You can board at noon. Our room was ready at 1.
