Timing of Reservations

We are set to sail on the Allure in Sept '14 and I was curious when we will be able to begin booking our reservations for shows, excursions, etc.

When I log into "My Cruises" it states that I have to make a payment before we can reserve ____. We made our deposit with the TA on Wednesday and I am curious if there is a delay from them to RCCL or is it actually because the service isn't yet available given we are 9 months out?

If you book your excursions in advance in your "My Cruises" account, yes you have to pay for them at the time you reserve them. doing so in advance guarantee's you get the excursion you want. If you wait until you board the ship to book excursions you may not get the one's you want if they have sold out.

I am also cruising on the Allure in Sept. 2014, right now it is still too early to book excursions, shows, and make reservations for specialty dinning. Some of the excursions might open up after the first of the year, just keep checking once in awhile on the website.

I'd had this message before as well... Looks like your TA books your cabin using group rate. It will take a while when all cabin for the group will be sold or released by TA, then this message will disappear.

At least TA shall give you cheaper price for your sailing :).

That makes perfect sense as the fare was cheaper than on the RCCL site. Thanks!!!

I booked a cruise for november 2014 Allure last wednesday. Went to the RCCL site yesterday and was able to book my cabana at Labadee! Just saying, it pays to start looking early.
