tbmrt Posted December 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2013 Just curious.... Did you like the layout and ambience of your assigned restaurant or would you have preferred the other restaurant? They both look gorgeous in the photos I've seen. Thank you Barbara
sharecruises Posted December 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 2, 2013 I was in the Black Crab, upper area..it was fine...very lovely I peeked at the other dining room and it was pretty too You will be assigned to one or the other....how I don't know... you may or may not be able to move but...why? MSC often has groups onboard....so they may put them in one or another I think many groups (mine included) were in Black Crab Here is a bit of advice for you - relax :) MSC is not the sort of cruiseline where you can forsee and plan everything if you "go with the flow" as I and others have suggested you will enjoy it I think you may be setting yourself up to be unhappy cause some of the stuff you want to know is really NOT known by anyone but MSC and they change stuff up a lot. Don't get your heart set on one or other dining room....they are all nice, "que sera sera">> :) Enjoy

We did make the best of things though! Barbara
HellouB Posted December 3, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 3, 2013 I was booked into the Villa Rossa for evening meals but had lunch in the Black Crab. I personally preferred the decor in the black crab but there was no difference in the service. We were not able to choose which restaurant we were assigned, but either is fine. footzz Posted December 7, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 7, 2013 The Black Crab is mid ship and the Villa Rossa is aft. It will be a smoother experience mid ship than aft. We dined in both rooms and at times there was a lot of motion in the Villa Rossa.
