Oh yes, does Cozumel ever get boring?! Maybe, but it hasn’t gotten boring for me yet! I told my mom that DH and I went to Nachi Cocom and I would love to go somewhere like that again. I read up on Mr. Sanchos and decided we should try them this time.

First we decided on breakfast! Of course…

We walked of the ship and into the Caribbean heat, which I love!! :p

My mom needed more batteries for a camera so we stop in one of the stores and then we were on our way to the cab area.

Look A Christmas Tree.

I believe the cab ride to Mr. Sanchos was $16. The drive was about 15 minutes. Sanchos was just as beautiful as Nachi. Matter of fact, I could see Nachi a little ways down the beach. When we arrived, we were greeted with a lot of whistles. Those guys sure do love to flirt.

A guy walked us to our beach chairs and we were introduced to our waiter for the day. His name was Jose and he told me he was my husband for the day. He was a huge flirt, he also told my mom that she was his mother in law.

We did the all inclusive package. I believe it was $40 for the day. There weren’t many people there yet. We met a nice couple and their two kids who were also on the Liberty and we had a nice chat with them. Jose kept the drinks coming and he was very attentive. The drinks were really strong, matter of fact, Jose would ask if we wanted them stronger. We decided that we would taxi back together with our newfound friends, just in case those drinks snuck up on us.

I really wish I could step outside to this scene everyday of my life

After countless drinks and that heat, we figured we'd better get something to eat.

If you've read at least one of my previous reviews, you will know I have a love affair with palm trees!

We got to Sanchos around 10am and we didn’t leave until about 4pm.We did the all inclusive deal. Well worth the money and I would definitely go back. Oh and the bathrooms were very clean. I always make sure to write that in my review because I appreciate cleanliness lol!

We met another great, great, couple at Mr Sanchos from Utah. We talked to them for awhile and throughout the entire cruise too. We met so many great people on this trip. Our new friends were soooooooooooooo intoxicated that we had to make sure that we had them ride back with us in the cab! Cozumel will do that to you:p

Congratulations on completing your first year of college! I graduated this past May after a 20 year hiatus of raising kids and working full-time. When I started my journey I took it one day at a time and learned so much. What an example you are showing your children by getting your degree.

I love your reviews, although you love to live on the edge I really enjoy reading them and your are one of the reasons we arrive a day early, way to much stress to begin a vacation.

Happy Sailing!!!

We went to Mr. sanchos in 2011. My DD ordered a drink and it was served in a pineapple with a face made of fruit on it. Don't remember the name of the drink, and the menu didn't help, but it sure was yummy! Had to order one for myself.

Okay, I'm back for a few hours! This shouldn't be taking this long cause half of my review is already written:o

Anyway, back at the port I took a few more pics.

Bye Bye Cozumel

This is always interesting and windy to walk through

We boarded and went up to Serenity for a bit and then we did something I never do…….......

Get in the hot tub lol. We sat there for awhile and sparked up a convo with a few people. After that, it was almost time for sail away and the DJ was playing some good songs so we watched and danced a bit. Anytime the DJ was on Lido, it seemed there was a conga line lol. It was a really good time

Looking through my pics, I don’t see any dining room pictures. So we probably grabbed something on Lido. We headed to the Venetian Palace and watched the end of the Thriller dance class. We also watched 60 seconds or less. I always find that entertaining, but I would never volunteer:o

After that, a few frozen drinks were had and then it was time for the “Love and Marriage show” Out of all of my cruises, this one was the funniest. The couples were all just hilarious and so was Big Sexy!

11403669803_e14e9d3b39_z.jpg

Then it was time for the Mexican Fiesta. I love deck parties! I love to see people of all ages letting loose and having fun. There was a lady who looked about 65 giving this deck party all she had! I love it!! We had late night pizza and headed to bed. We were early birds for three nights on this cruise, I guess it was all that airport stress lol

Thank you! This first year of college went by way fast. I had a lot of late night and early morning though! I am enjoying every minute of learning!

I do not like to live on the edge, trust me!! We usually fly in a day early, sometimes two days when we drive. In September, we did not have a sitter for the kids until that morning of the cruise. This time, my mom planned everything the way she wanted to do it. This was definitely not my choice, especially after September, No way!

Mr. Sanchos was really nice and the drinks were plentiful! I think I like Nacho a little teeny bit more though! We didn't get any cute pineapples!! I'm jealous!:D

Are you guys still reading along?! I hope so!

This was my second time in Belize. The first time I came, DH and I just didn’t see an excursion that we wanted to do. This time I still didn’t see an excursion that jumped out at me. My mom definitely wanted to do something. I kinda wanted to do a city tour, so that narrowed our options down to The Belize City Tour/ Zoo or Belize City Tour and Ruins. We choose to the City tour and zoo, but when we went to pay for it, she said it wasn't being offered. So we decided we would do the ruins instead.

Let’s stick a pin right here.

I am a planner, if this was DH and I, we would’ve had something already picked out and purchased. My mom likes to wing it, so when we talked about excursions before the cruise, she said well I’ll see what’s offered when we get there. Well, last minute is not good because you have to pick through the leftover excursions and not only that, but paying on the ship costs a hell of a lot more!!!! If you can, make sure to pay for your excursions beforehand!!

Okay, back to my still platinum review! ;D

Okay, we just paid like $65 for ruins. I wasn’t interested, but I love city tours and learning about other cultures. So this shouldn’t be too bad I thought. Since we were so last minute on choosing something, we had to hurry and get ready. Curling hair and all that girly mess in one little teeny tiny hour.:cool: We had to SKIP BREAKFAST to make it on time. My feelings were hurt! But hey, I’m on vacation!

We headed to the Venetian palace to get our tender tickets.

The "chandelier" in the Venetian Palace

11515544285_f62c724571_z.jpg

We stood in line for about 15 minutes and then I thought about it and I was like “Hey, I’m platinum, I need to go to guest services”. So I did and we were escorted down to a shorter tender line. We sat on the tender for about 10 minutes and it was hot, just like last time I came to Belize. Lots of complaints, but not me because I am an island girl at heart. For those that don’t know, the tender for Belize is about 20 minutes long.

11515801155_eb05c55fed_z.jpg

When we got to the dock, we got off and there were the usually people holding signs and showing or telling us where to go. We went outside and boarded a huge air conditioned bus and after about two minutes, we were on our way.

I have to stop right here and say I am a girly girl all the way and little did I know, this excursion was just not for me. Yes, I read the description, yes I’ve read a little about this excursion in other reviews on cruise critic, yes, this was a last minute pick and our first choice was not available, but oh boy….

Anyhoo, I love city tours and our tour guide was great! There were actually four but the first one was amazing. I love learning about different cultures and she gave us plenty of information about Belize, including the high gas prices of almost $7.00 a gallon.

I think they said this a hospital

Yes, I'm still reading and looking forward to seeing the ruins. We have been to Belize twice and if we ever get back, I would like to do the ruins. Snorkeled/visited Caye Caulker first visit and did the cave tubing the 2nd time there. Both were very enjoyable.
