Question about bottomless bubbles

Can you use a insulated cup or does it have to be on of the glasses provided by Carnival?

Not sure that it really matters. I bought the tumbler that they sell when you by the BB sticker and used it alot. But if I did not have it I just ordered a coke from the bar and got that glass.

It won't matter if your cup is insulated, when they pour the room temperature soda over a ton of ice you will have a flat, watered down drink. I was disappointed with buying soda on the ship.

They will give you a regular glass. You can then pour it into the cup of your choice.

I am thinking about this for my parents. I have read so many reviews. They are huge soda drinkers.

I have bought the cheap Carnival tumbler, and also bought a Red Frog Rum Bar Tervis Tumbler. They will fill up either for you, but it's not necessary.

 

You can just use a regular glass. They don't give you a complimentary insulated cup, so you don't NEED it to get a soda. Hope this helps.

So the cup is extra! Wow. The pkg is the same $ on Royal but the cup was included. Interesting. I guess it doesn't matter though. Never used the cup LOL. Didn't want to lug it around with me. :rolleyes:

IIRC, the reason the cup was included was because RCI has the new Coke "Freestyle" machines and they didn't want anyone putting any old cup in the machine to get a drink. So they give you the cup with an embedded RF chip that you can then use to get your patented Root Beer/Grape/Orange/PowerAde Diet Coke Hybrid!

Actually they were included before they installed the freestyle machines, which btw I never used because I didn't want to lug the cup around LOL.:p
