Do dive operators still pick up passengers directly from cruise ship in Belize?

I am just curious. Many posts I have read state that if you book an excursion (scuba diving) through Royal Caribbean, that the dive operators pick you up directly from the ship. So you don't have to tender all the way into Belize. This would save a lot of hassle.

I am just wondering if that has changed since all the increased security measures. All the posts I read about it are from several years ago. I'm so confused!

I have dive booked in Belize while on a Princess cruise in February and they said the operator will pick us up from the ship. So it`s still possible RC does the same thing.
