Host Jacquelyn Posted December 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2013 We booked the turtle farm online and it says that they will provide a shuttle from the cruise ship. they said they will contact me via email. Do you know how long that takes? I sent them an email, but have not heard back. I will be leaving on vacation and will not have access to email. If I don't hear back, do you know where I should meet them and what time? Thanks.
Cruising Photographer Posted December 5, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2013 (edited) Just looking at another link, If you don't connect with their shuttle, you can take the #1 bus (actually a minivan), for $2.50 US to get there. Just saw this under "buses" You may also want to check out this link below: FYI- this website is saying transportation is free for cruise visitors. Shuttles leave at 8:30 and 9:45 am. http://www.boatswainsbeach.ky/tickets/ Edited December 5, 2013 by Cruising Photographer additional information
B&P!!! Posted December 5, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2013 I did this a couple years ago. They had representatives at the hut with all the other excursions. Just ask there when you arrive. It was super easy. If you can't find them, just ask the folks holding the sign for the ship excursions to the Turtle Farm. Have fun!
Canadian Tyler Posted December 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 6, 2013 Yes, it's the same shuttle as those who booked through the cruiseline take from what I've read. So if you ask at the excursions hut they should be able to guide you. As mentioned, you could also take a city bus which has more flexible times than the shuttle.
