What do teens where on formal night?

On our March cruise, we rented a tux through the ship service for my husband and our teenage son. He actually enjoyed dressing up, and I have a fabulous photo of him in something other than shorts below his knees! ;)

I still have my loin cloth, ya never know when they will come back in style *LOL*

 

From the comments on most of the various different cruise line threads, that day is already here. I have always know that most men would prefer never to dress up but now it seems that an awful lot of women agree with them and no longer care to dress up either. It is a sorry state but it would appear the '60's crowd. their children and grandchildren have just about won in this category anyway.

I wonder what this 16 year old will decide to wear next year, as he steps out of the stretch limo (don't they all rent them these days) into the senior prom with his decked-out girlfriend?

 

Yes, they all rent towncars or limos (or, should I say - we lucky parents get that honor!) and the kids all dress to the nines! Our 16-yr. old son now has a suit, 3 sport jackets and 2 dinner jackets, along with all the accoutrements. :)
