If you used a TA you will have to contact them to complete the form.

Moviegirlnyorlando Posted December 10, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2013 The one and only time I sailed on carnival they just gave me an obc for the early saver difference not a refund. It was nice to be able to order wine and a few drinks knowing it was already paid for. They get your money one way or the other.

k2excursion Posted December 10, 2013 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2013 If you have not paid off your cruise yet, they will simply reduce how much is due. Since you cruise in May, you are still well before your final payment date, so hopefully you haven't paid it off yet. After final payment, they give OBC for any price adjustments. If you do wind up with a lot of OBC, more than you would use, you can use the casinos to get the money out in cash. At a slot machine, set up a players club account, and charge a certain amount to your sail & sign account. Once you're done gambling, however long or short that is, cash out your players club account on the machine (you need to do that any time you leave a machine), go to the cashier, and ask for your remaining balance in cash. ch27088 Posted December 10, 2013 #10 Share Posted December 10, 2013 And should I give carnival a call? To be honest, I never fill out the forms, but I call every other week and ask them to check for a lower price and they do it for me. Just give them a call, I've never had anyone rude, they've always been pleasant and willing to help. Good luck!
Inthedark31 Posted December 10, 2013 #11 Share Posted December 10, 2013 I booked my next cruise on the Magic for May while I was on a cruise. I noticed a price drop a couple weeks ago and filled out a form. I never heard back so I called them and was given the price difference immediately. Point of the story - don't wait for the form........call them.

pandarider123 Posted December 10, 2013 Author #14 Share Posted December 10, 2013 I only have 200 $ left on balance so if it goes down after I pay off cruise they probably just pay difference in on board credits?
k2excursion Posted December 11, 2013 #15 Share Posted December 11, 2013 I only have 200 $ left on balance so if it goes down after I pay off cruise they probably just pay difference in on board credits? Yes. For price differences before final payments, they lower how much you owe. For price differences after final payment, they give you on-board credit. I'm very surprised that they let you do this over the phone. That must be something new they're doing. It wasn't long ago that it was truly impossible for them to do it over the phone for Early Saver. All other rates were fine, but not Early Saver. Since that has apparently changed, I now know to call instead of sending in the form.

By calling and the fact you are before final payment you get the match. Congrats!!!
