MsBrownize Posted December 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2013 DS is interested in doing this; I know there is weight and height requirement, but is there an age requirement? I'd love to do it, but with the cost (ouch!) its not feasible for us both to go... Just want to make sure he can do this without me having to be with him on the trek up to the drop off point (he's 14).... I want to be at the bottom and take a few camera pics.. :) TIA... kathyemma Posted December 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2013 As long as you sign the release he will be fine. You can watch him do the test one from take off to landing. For the big one you can just see the landing! He will have a blast. Kathy

franma Posted January 19, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 19, 2014 Is it necessary to sign up ahead of time or can you decide once on Labadee? How does it compare to others you have done? Our friends have zip-lined in Alaska and Hawaii and may be interested, but may want to decide after they're there. Thanks. Fran
jackhall226 Posted January 27, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 27, 2014 I have the same question as Franma. We're cruising over spring break (probably a packed ship) and didn't know if we needed to go ahead and reserve a time now on RCI's web site or if we'll have plenty of time once we're on the ship or even at Labadee. Thanks, Jack

I signed up online ahead of time, but we saw people signing up on Labadee...you may have to come back at a later time, but I'm sure you can show up, or even sign up on the ship. DS had a blast....we have done others, but none nearly as long as this......on his way down, he ziplined next to "Santa"; great photo op for me!!
