NOS-E1 now E2 (Advice)

Hello-

 

First time cruiser here. We originally were on Deck 8 room 614 on NOS and E1 Category. Now I checked our reservation and we were moved down to Deck 6 (same roome) and E2. First, do people usually get moved down decks? And what is the difference between E1 and E2?
