SweetPease Posted December 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Silly me, I thought cruising in March would be hot, but nice weather. Has anyone had experience with cruising in March in the South Pacific? I've read that it's the tail end of hurricane/cyclone season.

Hawaiidan Posted December 14, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Hot and very humid. March is end of cyclone season so no worries there. The first weeks on march are very changeable. Later toward April the weather becomes more stable, dryer and cooler with less humidity May is the real end of cyclone season as it is the start of hurricane season in Hawaii. April May and October November being the best months in either place. Dec-Jan Feb super wet humid and un-stable. So what are we talking about temp wise... Its about the same as Hawaii during October Temps will average about 84-86 high and 74-76 low Humidity will vary from 60% to 80% Afternoon showers can be expected daily short in duration but can be powerful No lightning. No terrible winds or sea.
SweetPease Posted December 14, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Thank you Packard and Hawaiidan for keeping my mind at ease. Having grown up in FL, I can deal with ht, humid, pop up showers. Just not a fan of prolonged rough seas. ;)
