jabrown40 Posted December 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Will I get hassled for putting crystal light in my water bottle and taking it to the pool? I prefer that to drinking sodas while at the pool, and don't necessarily like to drink alcohol all day while at sea. Can you take your own water bottles to the pool? I want to bring a few packets with me, but don't want any hassle.

Enjoy - and don't stress!
MeHeartCruising Posted December 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) The only concern I've ever seen is that they don't want you directly refilling your reusable bottles from the various beverage dispensers in the food areas. This can contribute to the spread of germs. If you fill your bottle in other ways, you should have no problem. Monalis Posted December 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 15, 2013 On the Jewel in early December, they also had a Strawberry Kiwi and Tropical Mango sugar free flavored water by the water/juice dispensers. I never tried the Strawberry Kiwi but the Tropical Mango was pretty good and was just like a crystal light or other flavored water.

duce95 Posted December 15, 2013 #7 Share Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) I took crystal light and rum runners filled with vodka to make in room cocktails. Just used ice provided by room steward and water from sink. Instant party. Just remember to also bring your own sports bottles. sdmike Posted December 15, 2013 #8 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Also concur that water flavor packets will not be an issue. My kids use Mio instead of drinking sodas and there was never an issue.
kayhil3 Posted December 15, 2013 #9 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Used the mio flavoring for our cruise even in the dinning rooms and never had a problem.
MsShel330 Posted December 16, 2013 #10 Share Posted December 16, 2013 We liked the Strawberry Kiwi infused water. We drank that instead of the bottles of water and cans of soda that we brought with us.

angel54321 Posted December 16, 2013 #12 Share Posted December 16, 2013 We too use Mio in the MDR very night with no problem. Flavors the water and doesn't cost $$ Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app Sailing 3/23/14 on the Norwegian Dawn
