4-day Fascination from Jax - Football, liquor pickup and buffet questions

Hi folks-

Looking for some help from some recent cruisers on Fascination out of Jax...

Where do we find Thursday night and Sunday NFL football games? Any of them on the big screen outside?

We are thinking of picking up some rum while onboard - is there still delivery to the cabin the night before, or is it pickup on debarkation morning?

How is the buffet in the evening? Lots of our previous Carnival cruises have had great evening buffets, but our last trip on the Dream was AWFUL (B2B Dream in October).

Also, where might we find outdoor smoking areas? Extra points for locations with tables and chairs.

Thanks for your help!

Fascination,,,,,has No outside Big Screen...........

There is flat screen T.V.s @ different locals thru the Ship...

Buffet @ night is Hot Dogs,Hamburgers, fries ECT..............

I think the 3rd night they will have a Mexican Buffet out on the Lido...

Carnival has had some cut-backs..........

I am not a Smoker,,,,,,,Smoking is out on the Lido,,,closer to Lido Bar.

And you can smoke @ the Star Bar close to the Casino ....

Fascination is a great Ship............

Funny have sailed four times this year on her and never once saw hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner. In fact can't say it was any better or worse then MDR. Also did dream and liberty and found the buffet and MDR about the same on each ship. Just no dried up lobster and shrimp. But I've finally moved on to the ribs and they were far better.

As mentioned no games on big screens but a few tvs in the back of the buffet and around other areas.

Smoking on lido by red frog bar follow the crowd!

Just got back on Monday and was a great trip in the mid 80s. Except for the fog delay coming home.

Liquor delivered last night or buy after 7 that night and take it to go.

No problem I think you win fascination cruises by a few. Sometimes it might be good for a burger just never seen them offered anymore at dinner and MDR choices were all dry and no flavor. Even the waiter tried 3 choc melting cakes and all 3 we choc soup. He gave up since the chef said the last one was perfect. But service was fantastic as usual. Then again I don't cruise for food and don't go hungry. I love the staff and it's my favorite even after the dream and liberty this year.

Just off her. Sailed a b2b which included all the bowl games, MNF, etc.

As mentioned, no outside big screen, but lots if TVs at the aft bar all showing games (Beverly Hills - 4 or 5 TVs) Another popular spot, the coffee shop (1 TV) and finally the bar by the casino (1tv). They also had games on in the Casino. (Felt like there was football nearly everywhere)

Room stewards did deliver alcohol to rooms the last night, and you could take your purchases from the DFS to your cabin on the last night.

One if the lounges did have an "adult beverage pickup" sign on it - not sure why.

Only ate from the buffet once, can't really comment on that.
