Carnival Sunshine

I would guess that at that time of year, "Sunshine" will sail with almost all the cabins FULL! At least the kids will still be in school, so you shouldn't be overrun with curtain climbers. ;) Rates are still attractive in April.

Can not remember a CCL cruise we were on that did not sail full except for the Holiday which had a line at the pier waiting for unsold or no shows back in the day. Both RCCL ships we were on had a few cabins available.

Normally there is a sign when you get on at the service desk that states No Cabins Available.

We booked the Sunshine for the April 6th -11 day repro. at the same cost as a 7 day. As far as kids we don' really attention to the number on the ship.
