What is a must-have souvenir in Belize? I want to take home something special.

I'd say take a look at the handcrafted wooden bowls, etc. offered at the tender pier or at the flea/crafts market directly across the street. These are made of zircote wood that is found in Belize and are often multi-colored. Another popular item is Marie Sharp's hot sauce. Comes in a variety of flavors and degrees of spiciness.

Wood carvings for sure! I have two sitting on my desk here that I got in Belize, they are beautiful!
