casino rate

Went on our first cruise last month, spent a lot of $$ in the casino. Enough where the cruise line sent a plate of chocolate cover strawberries to our room and comps me a bottle of wine at dinner. Free drinks all cruise long as long as I was playing in the casino. I thought that carnival would seen me a casino discount for our next cruise. We are wanting to go in April on our next cruise and I need to get off work for the time I want to go. Any idea on how long before I will see an offer.

I don't know what you consider a lot of $$, but those are pretty standard comps without having to spend a lot of money. The On Us card is automatic after 1500 points and just being friendly will get you the other comps.

Typically the Players Club sends out 2 snail mail Casino Cruise offers a year. They will list 5 or 6 cruises for a specific date. I'm pretty sure they have already sent out the spring list, I know I got one but I'm already booked for my spring cruise.

If you go on carnival.com and click on cruise deals at the top of the page it will show you if you qualify for any Premier Casino Cruise Sailing.....mine is showing 10 right now and I would have to book by February 7th.

Thank you, that 1500 point was earned on 1st day. $$ mean a lot of $$ Just thought since it was our first cruise that it may take longer to get us in their system. Thanks for tip on where to look for premium sail dates.

My nephew sailed with me Thanksgiving 2012 on the Liberty and he got the same as you. Free drinks. Tshirt and hat. Wine. Chocolates. To date, he has never received any type of casino discount on his cruise (if he did, I would know since I'm his cruising advisor :)). Actually, we are sailing in a few weeks on the Valor. I sent an email to Players Club to see what we comps we are eligible for and I'm getting more Casino Cash then he is and I think I got one free drink on that sailing from the Casino Host. Thats it.

There is no rhyme or reason on who gets the Casino Perks from Players Club. If you want to sail in April, I would just book it. Chances are you may never see an offer :(

Since it was your 1st cruise you might not even get put into the Players Club system until after booking your next cruise.

You can call the Players Club on 866-766-7684 or 866-672-2582 to see what comps you have coming for your next cruise. Other than qualifying for Premier Casino Cruises, they don't automatically send out any comps for future cruises and you have to call to let them know you are sailing again.

Future comps are based on your level of play on your last cruise only, they do not accumulate. Typically less than 5000 points will get you $50 to $75 casino cash. More than 5000 points will get you the On Us card on day one, plus casino cash, and you may or may not get goodies in your cabin.

Just received the latest Premiere Casino Cruise Offer in mail last week. 10 different cruises available to choose from from 2/22/14 to 06/17/14. Must book by 02/07/14. It is non-transferable, otherwise I would give it away.

Those are the same one's coming up on my special offers page.

My last cruise was a Premier Casino Cruise and the perks were great. Even though the offer was for me, my sister who sails with me got all the perks too.

We each got $250 casino cash, the On Us card upon boarding (it was actually a lanyard that you had to wear to be identified as being on the casino cruise), 2 large bottles of water in our cabin, fruit/wine basket, a dozen of the large cookies from the pastry shop (they sell for $1.95 each), 2 really plush Players Club beach towels, a private cocktail party with hot appetizers, A private slot tournament (the winner got $800, I placed 8th and got $80).

If your going to cruise anyway and you qualify for one of these offers it's well worth it to book one.

Our casino rate just popped up when I was looking at cruise specials. It's triggered by your VFIP number, which the casino also uses to identify you.

My husband and I both qualified for the rate, which will apply to everyone in the stateroom... I asked and they confirmed that we could have EACH gotten a cabin, invited friends to enjoy the same rate, and then just swap cabins around after we boarded.

Go to carnival.com, sign into your VIFP account look under your Special Offers. That's where my husband finds his casino offers, check often!

Brother-inlaw won 2,700 on second to the last day. They only cruise about once every 10 years. The next day they were given a bunch of freebies and a letter stating 25% off their next cruise if booked in 14 days or less. I think Carnival wanted their potential earnings back. They did not book another cruise.
