Price increases on the Carnival Site

Just noticed that the price of most of the cruises increased $50-100 on the Carnival site.

Just noticed that the price of most of the cruises increased $50-100 on the Carnival site.

 

Whut-oh. Possibly to cover expenses from hurricane damage? There've been a lot of stories recently about all of the damage that's been incurred such as liquor, gift shop items, dishes, not to mention any shipboard credits that they've given out to appease people for water damage or port changes.

I can't imagine that their insurance covers *everything*. The money has to come from somewhere.

Makes appreciate our cruise next week even more if that is possible.

Sure am glad I booked when I did. Had I done like I planned and waited till the first of Aug. who knows what we'd be paying.

I saw on tv where the airlines are going to do the same...for increased fuel costs.

I am too. We're going to Grand Cayman for a week this coming January, and I really though about waiting to see if I could find better airfare for the five of us. I am so glad I bit the bullet and just bought them.
