TheCalicoCat Posted January 2, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2014 Does $10-$15 sound right for the cost of the Pilates or boot camp classes on offer in the gym?
debshomespun Posted January 2, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2014 Yes. Most of the classes are $10, $12, or $15.
GMoney Posted January 2, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) Depends on the class and the ship. Generally, $12 - $15 is the correct range for yoga and pilates. Boot camp is usually more; for example, on my recent Oasis cruise, it was $120 for four 30 min sessions. Spinning was a bit of a rip off at $25 a class, but they have a unique set up called Flywheel - basically it's spinning with the light out and music blaring. I haven't seen $10 fitness classes in a ship in a long time. Keep in mind the auto-gratuity is now included as well. TheCalicoCat Posted January 2, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted January 2, 2014 Thanks. I like the idea of boot camp, but not at that rate ($30 each). I spin in my gym at home, so I am not to terribly interested in doing that on the cruise. Good to know that I should budget closer to $15 than $
