My cruise companions are looking to book cabin 6554 on V.O.S. I think it is a E1 balcony.I want to know does it have a sofa-bed or a bunk type bed for the 3 person. I would hate having to climb into bed. Anyone sail in this cabin??

You can call the cruiseline directly to verify, but the brochure indicates that this cabin has a Pullman bed, which is the bunk type that comes out of the ceiling. According to the brochure, all E1's have this type of bedding configuration. It appears, though, that the cat. D1 has a sofabed.

Hope this helps.

I just spent a few minutes on the website. It says that: "Two twin beds (can convert into queen-size), private balcony, sitting area with sofa, and a private bathroom. Rates vary from deck to deck. (173 sq. ft., balcony 47 sq. ft.) " it also has an astrik, which the legand claims means: "Stateroom has third Pullman bed available"

So it looks like there is a sofa and a pullman.
