ETski Posted January 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2014 Please tell me what deck the Taste Bar is on. Also is there still a Sushi bar or has the Taste Bar replaced it. Another question what deck is the comedy club on. On the Pride it was a small venue and very hard to get seats, any suggestions.
NCTribeFan Posted January 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2014 Haven't sailed her yet, but you can easily find deck plans all over the internet. Carnival has them on their site. I like to use cruisedeckplans dot com. Taste bar/sushi bar on deck 5, heading aft of the casino. Comedy club should be the large lounge aft, also deck 5. Give me a Spirit-class ship over any of the others, any day. Love that layout. Generally dislike the Conquest-class and newer.
PAPERBKWRITER Posted January 4, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2014 You should get a ship directory when boarding or go t GS for one. Fun times (delived each day to your cabin) shows all scheduled events and where they are.

It was sushi in July, but I believe it's changed to taste since then. If so, sushi may occasionally be available on the Lido buffet. The comedy club is also on 5. funtime238 Posted January 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2014 The comedy club is at the the back of deck 5 in the El Morroco Lounge. On our cruise in Nov. people started lining up 20 to 30 minutes before the doors opened. The room itself is very large. The outer level and the bar are both elevated a little. They empty the lounge after every show. We were able to leave one show, get back in line and still reenter the lounge for the next show. I never observed anyone getting turned away for any of the performances. We are looking forward to sailing again on 1/28 Splendor. Hope to see you aboard and at the MG:) Don

It is the Taste Bar now, but it is still branded as a sushi bar as of 12/11/13. see photo
