We have gotten friends of ours to finally go cruising with us. Problem is....We are Platinum and they are not. When we embark, if they are all checked in, can they just walk along with us and board the ship when we do?

Odd question, I know, but it's something new to talk about.

They would have to wait for their zone number to be called. They do check boarding passes that have VIP printed on them. If FTTF is still available purchase that for them and they can board right behind you.

My parents are platinum cruisers and went on a cruise with my inlaws who aren't. At the terminal, they were allowed to all go through VIP boarding together, and at the platinum check in, they signed in, and someone got their cards from the regular line and let them check in at the platinum area. Don't know if it was a one time thing or just at the terminal, but when they asked they all just went through the same line. Of course, they also got there after boarding already started, so it wasn't that crowded anyway, so maybe that had so ething to do with it.
