Miss JAD Posted January 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2014 1. - Is Bonamine (sea sickness medication) available on the ship (Davina) for purchase? We are from Canada and my pharmicist recommends this but it is not available in Canada. 2. - What is the cheapest way to get cash on board: From the casino on sea pass account (then you pay at the end with your visa) or the ATM? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help. Best bet is to grab cash before going on the cruise. I do not know if they charge a service fee from the casino, but they do charge a foreign transaction fee on credit card transaction on the ship out of the US. So even if you pay with a credit card there will be a fee if your credit card charges for Foreign transaction. Why does a “Foreign Transaction Fee” appear on my credit card statement when sailing out of a US port? Please keep in mind that although you have booked your cruise with our USA office, your passenger contract (which is included in your e-documents) does state that you are in a contract with MSC Crociere; therefore, all purchases onboard will be processed through our bank overseas. Depending on your bank or credit card Company, you may incur this fee. Please contact your local bank or credit card Company for any disputes. AmoMondo Posted January 8, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2014 Get cash from an ATM in port or at airport but be careful about the card you use. Many have huge foreign transaction charges whilst others do not.
