Carnival Splendor February 2014

So i am going on a cruise, February 13th, departing out of new york, coming back the 21st, this is the week that most schools have their mid winter break here on long island so i just have a few questions.

1: This is only my second time cruising, first time out of new york, so i was wondering, we are heading towards florida, but have 2 full days before getting there, so the 14th and 15th, and we are in florida the 16th will it be cold those days at sea?

2: Since the 14th is valentines day, does carnival do anything special?

3: Since this is a Valentines day cruise, but is on the break for most kids, do you think there will be any kids on the cruise?

4: Anyone been on the carnival splendor? is there a lot to do? give me reviews please

It will definitely be chilly the first day - probably cool the second. You can go online and check the average temperature in Florida in February.

Probably yes. But you would get better answers on the Carnival board here

 

3: Since this is a Valentines day cruise, but is on the break for most kids, do you think there will be any kids on the cruise?

 

There are ALWAYS kids - how many will vary depending on how many schools have vacation, how many people want to take their kids out of school even if they don't have vacation and how long the cruise is. Short cruises usually have more kids than longer cruises.
