  1. Been there, did that, got a Regent t-shirt. But I'm going to follow @keith1010's advice and leave this for a while and get back to the cruise blog idea once we're actually doing at least getting to the cruise stuff.
  2. BACK TO THE CRUISE BLOG... I can barely stand the wait. Work for me is crazy and if I can't be on the ship, I want to be making lists about what to pack and laying things out, and asking my husband for the upteenth time whether his seersucker jacket needs to go to the cleaners. Luckily he doesn't know where the packing lists are - so he can't divorce me before we leave. I put on some mascara I had - and it made no difference. It's the damn gravity. I'm trying an experiment right now which I'm not going to reveal in public but it has to do with dabbing a bit of bra
  3. THANK YOU. I'll play with it a bit more tonight. I was just so excited to see the android version.
  4. A surprising update. You may or may not have already gotten anything that suggests you download the Crystal Connect app - which all of the Crystal documentation says is an Apple app only. And so it was when I looked a while back. But YAY - the android version is out. It's fairly useless to me now as it doesn't have an option to client "already booked" and show just information for your cruise, but it does open to show a formatted for mobile version of the website and you can go to your Priority Check-In and Planning Center page. But in theory - once you board, you click
  5. You can say that again. And dang, I thought this was my July 3 roll call - and I was looking forward to meeting you.
  6. Thank you! Having just spent some time looking at my lashes, I realize my problem is I probably need an eye lift. My lids sort of sag onto my eyelashes, which are actually still dark and somewhat thick. But they don't curl up at all because of the lids. So I'm afraid I need more than make up can do. If was, wasn't it. Now we're talking about useful things to make a cruise better!!
  7. I'm glad someone here is interested in talking about important cruise decisions. I can't wear mascara because of needing eye drops several times a day and even if they don't mess up the mascara, the mascara messes up the drops. I wish I could wear it - it's such an easy quick, big bang for the effort thing. But alas, it's not to be. Although maybe I should try some of the new kinds. Do you have a recommendation? But... long story that will bore the guys, this year I have earrings on my packing list. I bought some adorable ones in bright colors to go with cruise-wear.
  8. Amen! On the other hand I reserve the right to stress over whether to once again pack makeup which based on prior experience has a 90% chance of not being used, and a 98% chance of not requiring I buy a replacement, or to just forget about it.
  9. I got the same thing. I hadn't gone beyond seeing that I could find the buy a voucher and enter the area for that. I'm fine with them charging my ship account - although if they would prefer we have the voucher, I'll try in a week. I'm trying NOT to feel like the cruise is that close because I do have almost 2 full weeks of work before VACATION!!!
  10. And it's the same price as buying the voucher on the Bahamas Visa site. I think they are recommending buying the voucher so it makes one less step on board. I may buy the vouchers this weekend just to have that done. You can go in and buy they any time once you're registered.
  11. Get to go? We paid a lot of money - or do you mean decide to go on the first one? Or?
  12. I thought it was free, but since it's required and since I don't want to run around on the day we disembark and have to get to the airport, I'm assuming it will be a line item on my bill which I won't look at because it harshes my mellow to do so.
  13. There's a question about whether you want a voucher for a test. Just don't click that. That's for people who are NOT sailing on Crystal Serenity. I'm not sure if RCCL is doing testing on board. I would think so but there are tons and tons of visitors going to the Bahamas who are not on a cruise. So the can buy a voucher for a test before flying to the US or any other place that requires testing.
