Royal Parking in NOLA week of Jan 4-11

Just back from a 7 day on the Serenade out of New Orleans. We parked in the RCCL parking lot, which is uncovered, came back and our car is coated with grit, almost like it was sand blasted. Anyone else ever experience anything like that?

No one seemed interested in the but it cost us $325.00 to get our car cleaned. They said it looked and felt like some sort of overspray. The entire car including the windows had to be polished/buffed. Royal basically said sorry it's not our lot it belongs to the city!! But that is the lot they refer you to park. NEVER again.

Did you contact the city about the issue? Royal may recommend this lot to park but as they said it is not under their ownership which means they have little information or control over what goes on there.

Just curious, was it only your car or did you noticed the same problem to cars around you?
