Thinking of taking a cruise to the Bahama's Jan 3, 2015. I am concerned over the temperature of the water and the weather. I would like to hear from someone who has been to Nassau or Half Moon Cay in the beginning part of January. Just want to make sure its warm enough to go snorkeling without a wet suit.

Generally speaking, water temps usually run around 70. A bit chilly.

Snorkeling tours will be going out, but most people don't spend much time in the water without getting a chill.

As for wetsuits - only the dive shops provide them. Most snorkeling tours do not.
