Rare Laszlo Posted January 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) Can anyone tell me if the spa pass is worth it and how much does it really cost? Of course its worth it, but thats just me:D. How long is your cruise? that will determine price. We paid $129? for the Dawn in November Edited January 14, 2014 by Laszlo
cpiers Posted January 14, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2014 They just raised the price on the Gem from $139 to $189! Having second thoughts about buying it.
monteman Posted January 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2014 It's about $20 a day. That price hike for the 9-day is quite steep. As to if it's worth it, that just depends on the person. It is definitely worth it for my husband who goes at least twice a day, either for a sauna or a dip in the hot tub, or just to read on the warmed lounge chairs. He goes really morning, late afternoon, early evening, whenever he feels like it. For me, it is no longer worth it. I like to go anywhere from 3 to 5 times. That means it's more worth it to buy a day pass a few times to join my husband. I have found it at times frustrating because the thing I like best in the spa is the heated loungers. Many times when I had a pass, no matter when I went they were full (of either bodies or the dreaded towel place holder). People seemed to go there and stay for hours. I just wanted a half hour of relaxation on a lounger and rarely could get that. So for me, that high fee just not worth it. If the loungers are not high priority, and you would use the spa daily, I think it is worth it.
Janine Posted January 14, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2014 They raised the price by $50, but are we getting anything more?
