Wondering about "Noise Level" - Glory deck 10

DW and I and a friend of ours are booked in cabin 1064 on Glory deck 10 for this coming October 2014.

 

We are aware that there are cabins above and below our booked cabin.

 

We would like to know what the noise level I is as it is close to the entry way to the pool area?

From what I can tell in past reviews Deck 10 is typically pretty quiet. We will actually be on the Glory in room 1062 on February 2nd. I will let you know what we thought, once we return.

We have stayed on Panorama deck on the Victory twice and the Valor it is a quiet location.

We had that same cabin last year on the Freedom and it was fine. While sitting on the balcony you had to really strain to hear anything from the lido.

We loved the location! It was so convenient to the lido deck and to the elevators to go down to the dining room and to the promenade.

After that cruise I decided I would always take cabins on panorama or lido from now on.

We have sailed on the Glory twice and stayed on Deck 10 Balcony room both trips.. Loved the location and no noise that bothered us!

Not sure about deck 10 but I wouldn't book deck 8. Below Lido can have some noisey cabins.

We were in 1066 on the Glory in March and it was quiet. We are in 1062 next week on her sister ship, the Liberty. Love the panorama deck.

We were in 1057 last week on Freedom. No noise, we loved the location.

1030 on the Conquest was also quiet

We were in a similar cabin on the valor, but on the other side of the ship. It was perfectly fine. I could hear the music from the deck party if I was on the balcony but nothing in the cabin at all.
