Deb24370 Posted January 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2014 Noticed in a recent thread that you can take Wine on board at a limit per cabin. Can anyone tell me if this is the case ? And is it just Wine. We wanted to take a bottle of champagne to celebrate my in laws 60th Wedding Anniversary.

We took 2 bottles of champagne on our last sailing, 1 for sail away and 1 for my birthday later in the week. Previously have taken 1 champagne & 1 wine and will be doing this again in Feb. I notice you are sailing on Freedom so I assume you are flying from the UK to Florida. My tip if you're flying direct, check out the prices of Champagne at duty free. It was cheaper for us to buy at the airport than in the US. Edited January 15, 2014 by peteukmcr

peteukmcr Posted January 15, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2014 Yes we are flying from the UK , we have already got a VERY nice bottle of champagne to take with us in our luggage. So I assume you are packing this in your checked baggage to go into the aircraft hold as it will not be allowed through security in hand baggage as I'm sure you know. Hope it's packed securely.
