gskline Posted January 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2014 I'm trying to find a private tour to a nice Beach near Falmouth. Courtney Taylor offered my wife and I a tour to Silver Sand Beach, which is near Falmouth. Anyone ever heard of it or been there??
ReggaeRoy Posted January 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2014 Silver Sands is a gated villa community in the town of Duncans (between Falmouth and Runaway Bay). We have stayed in villas there four times. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. Some water sports are offered (kayaks, snorkeling, etc.). They also have a beach bar and grill right there. If you go, please say hello to our dear friend Roy (the lifeguard).

The gated area villa side and the side where locals go to swim and fish. I think you may of to pay to go into the gated ville community but its really very nice. The other side have two local small food restaurant with good food and the people are very friendly but the beach is not as nice as the gated side. Marie51 Posted January 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2014 Courtney Taylor also offered us a trip to this beach for $15/pp. I wonder which side it is on? Any other info about this beach will be appreciated.

I am not sure you would need to contact them but both side of silver sand are great in there own way. Gated side The beach is nicer and they have a lot of sea activities. It was design for tourist. Downside: They may charge you entry fee and you won't get as good of a local feeling as the other side. Out side gated area: The beach is nice and there are local hand design craft shops and local restaurants. The people are very lay back. The beach is open and free Downside : No sea activities offered.
