Cabin 6155-any issues re cigarette smoke?

Hi

 

I have a choice of this cabin however from what I have read the smoking area is above but one cabin away

 

Has anyone stayed in this cabin, if so was it an issue ?

What ship are you on.....that makes a difference.

The smoking section is much further back (on deck 5).....you shouldn't have any problems.

 

BUT there may be some aggressive cigar smokers.....or no smokers at all. It really all depends on the passengers aboard. We were just above the smoking area on the Reflection and never had even a whiff of smoke.

Above your cabin is several decks of more cabins. There's no smoking anywhere near there.

 

Midship, port side, deck 5 is where there is smoking, but you'd be forward of that, and since the ship will be moving most of the time you'd be around, you'd likely not have a smoke issue from deck 5 midship up and over to deck 6 forward.

 

If you look at the deck plans - midship, where the ship juts outward for a few cabins then goes back in...that is the midship smoking area.

Hi

 

I read there were 2 smoking areas on deck 5, midship and forward.

 

So there is only smoking on midship?

 

There is such conflicting information

 

I really appreciate any advice as will be booking this today

One is outside the theater and opposite the forward elevator lobby; the second is outside Destinations [the future cruise sales office] just aft of the midships elevator lobby... No smoking that I've seen between the two...

Looking at deck plan, cabin 6155 is above photo gallery section so it appears I am ok as elevator is back a bit
