Transportation From Port Canaveral To Epcot Hotel

We are getting off the Explorer of the Seas in November and going to Epcot for several days. Does anyone have suggestions on getting from the port to a Disney hotel? I've thought of a taxi or shuttle to get to the airport, then take Disney's bus to the hotel. We used Disney's bus a few years ago when we flew in, but this time we will have our luggage and hate to haul it to the airport, then to the arrival area to pick up their bus. Ideally, I'd like to go directly to the Disney hotel, but have found out the taxi's are the most expensive way. I hate to rent a car and then have it sit for several days. Any suggestions? Thanks!
