question about park and cruise

Recommended Posts

we are using park n cruise to park, how does the tipping with them work? do we tip when we get there with them handling our bags and then tip again at the cruise ship term.how do the park n cruise work, do we drive up to the bus and give them our bags (do we tip here )and then go park our car and walk back to the bus, and do they let us off at the port with our bags, and we give them to the porters, and we tip them, or are the tips at park and cruise already added or what, sorry, i've always parked at the port before.

If you mean the one at Port Canaveral...you will pull into a garage type building...unload your bags & pay for your parking...they will load them on the shuttle & then direct you to a parking spot...you park & then walk back over & board the shuttle...when you reach the port they will have you get off & then hand your bags to you..."THEN" is when you would tip the driver...there will generally be a porter close by to take your bag...and he will be expecting a tip as well...usually a $1 or so a bag is fine...

We use the one in Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale... In Fort Lauderdale where they park the car for you I ALWAYS tip the guy who parks the car (at least $5)... he usually handles the bags to the shuttle. Then at both places I tip the shuttle driver (at least $5). We usually have 2 bags and a carry on. Also... Mom walks with a walker so they handle that and assist her on and off the shuttle.
